📰 𝗘𝗣𝗖 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗻𝘆𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗸𝗶 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 The European Producers Club is deeply troubled by the sentencing of Ukrainian producer and EPC Member 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗻𝘆𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗸𝗶 to 8.5 years in prison for his anti-war remarks. Rodnyanski has defended the "right of creators to express their views," enriching global cinema with award-winning films for over two decades. Despite this harsh sentence, he stands firm, declaring: “𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩.” The EPC condemns this verdict and calls on the global film community to unite against such injustices.
