This week our team are at India Mobile Congress (IMC) - Asia’s largest technology festival – providing live demos of our service alongside our suite of LEO user terminals ⚡ With several remote and hard to reach places across India, Eutelsat OneWeb’s high-speed, low-latency connectivity is looking to bridge the digital divide across the country. At this year’s IMC, we were honoured to welcome Hon’ble minister of Communication and Development, Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia, to our booth and to interact with defence and government teams off-site via our LEO services; marking the first time these often-remote teams were able to undertake video calls and use high-speed internet. These areas have been without connectivity until now. Co-Chair of Eutelsat Group, Sunil Bharti Mittal, also spoke at the opening of the event, marking the importance of and our strong progress toward improving connectivity across India. Thank you to all of our guests during the week so far, and to alongside our partners and colleagues at airtel for making us a part of this milestone event. Our team of connectivity experts are still on site, so if you are attending IMC, please visit us to see how Eutelsat OneWeb can connect you.

This week, alongside our Sunrise Project partners at ESA Connectivity and Secure Communications and UK Space Agency, we successfully demonstrated our high-speed at-sea LEO connectivity 🌊 Teams from both the Sail for Tomorrow and Polar Pod research expeditions logged into the webinar from sea, presenting updates on their research and voyages via our Eutelsat OneWeb LEO connectivity thanks to maritime user terminals connected to their respective vessels. With high-speeds and low-latency, the teams were able to video call and screen share during their presentations from the water. Attendees also heard from French explorer Jean-Louis Etienne who is leading the Polar Pod expedition. With over 60 attendees - including the Eutelsat OneWeb team also dialling in through a LEO user terminal from our office in London - this was was a successful demonstration of the power of the OneWeb constellation, providing connection no matter the location. Thanks to everyone involved in the demonstration, and bon voyage to our two research expeditions!

Eutelsat OneWeb LEO connectivity, powering the Sail for Tomorrow expedition ⛵ We've partnered with our colleagues at the European Space Agency - ESA and the UK Space Agency to support and connect the Sail for Tomorrow expedition; a voyage by a crew of student researchers focused on ocean protection and education. The user terminal on their ship “Odyssey”, manufactured by Intellian Technologies, will allow the team to share real-time marine research findings as well as facilitating video conferences with primary school students back home, bringing their exciting stories and research directly into classrooms. Being connected to the Eutelsat OneWeb network will also improve crew welfare by supporting internet browsing, streaming, and video calls with family and friends back home. The boat received best wishes for a safe 10 month trip to Tahiti at an event in La Rochelle, this week. We are proud to be working with our partners to enable connectivity for his incredible adventure 🌊

We are delighted to announce two strategic leadership appointments that will bring new expertise and experience to our team, continuing our telecommunications transformation. ✨ We are delighted to welcome Mariam Kaynia as our new Chief Data and Information Officer (CDIO) at the beginning of November. Mariam is joining from Telefonica Germany, where she served as the VP and Director of MassMarket. In this role, she was responsible for delivery of products and services for B2C and B2P customers, including application development and operations, as well as leading their company-wide digital transformation. Prior to joining Telefonica in 2019, Mariam was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, as well as working as a professor and an expert reviewer for the European Commission. She was named as "Top 50 Women in Technology in Germany" by Handelsblatt in 2021. A Norwegian national, Mariam holds a Ph.D. in Wireless Communications and Electrical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, in affiliation with Stanford University. Mariam replaces David Bath who moves to a new role as Chief Restructuring Officer leading our ground infrastructure divestment project. David has been heavily involved in the project since its inception and his contribution has been invaluable. In this new role, he will ensure the various internal and external stakeholders are working together to meet the expected target date for completion of the transaction, in the first half of 2026. With the completion of the Gen1 operationalisation initiative at the end of 2024, in December, Massimiliano Ladovaz will step down from his role as Chief Operations Officer. A role he has held since our merger in September 2023, responsible for group-wide infrastructure-run activities and the completion of the LEO Gen1 service roll-out. Massi joined OneWeb in April 2018 and as part of the core executive team supported the fund-raising effort in 2019 as well as the sales effort to HMG and Bharti and therefore exit from Chapter 11 in 2020. Massi has been a true anchor and a technology visionary in OneWeb’s journey since 2018, and we want to thank Massi and acknowledge his great contribution to our Group and his passion for our mission. We all wish him the best for his future endeavors. Fabio Mando will succeed Massi as our new Chief Operations officer, starting in November, based in our London office. Fabio is a seasoned telecoms executive with over 25 years’ experience spanning diverse geographies and market segments. His career has included leadership roles at multiple telcos, most recently at Millicom, where he has demonstrated expertise in technology strategy, network deployment, business transformation, and operational optimization in developed and emerging markets. An Italian national, Fabio holds a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Padova, Italy. We look forward to welcoming Mariam and Fabio to the team in the coming month. 👏
