Exciting News! Veronique Faujour, Managing Director of the Foundation & General Secretary of Groupe Crédit Agricole, and her team are proud to announce that Grameen Credit Agricole Foundation is partnering with two experienced women impact investors, Maud Savary-Mornet and Camille Huret, to launch an initiative dedicated to Women Empowerment for Climate adaptation in Asia. With decades of experience in financial inclusion in emerging countries, the consortium has observed first-hand the new challenges caused by the climate crisis. Women are disproportionately affected by climate change as they bear the responsibility for securing food, water and energy, while lacking access to resources and decision-making bodies. Our joint vision is to focus on the transformative power of women to achieve climate adaptation. The fund will focus on 3 key sectors where women empowerment represents an opportunity to accelerate climate adaptation: access to clean water💧, access to clean energy💡 and sustainable agriculture🌱, also leveraging on the unique outreach of microfinance institutions in emerging markets. The fund will partner with financial institutions and corporates ready to transform and adapt their products, services, and organizations by, for and with women as beneficiaries and stakeholders. Through their transformation journey, investees will benefit from technical assistance as well as financial incentives through KPI-Linked Loans. We're excited to embark on this journey to accelerate climate transition! #inclusivefinance #climatefinance #impactfinance #ByForWithWomen Camille Huret Maud Savary-Mornet Veronique Faujour Vincent Brousseau Edouard Sers #GrameenCréditAgricoleFoundation #beyondfinance #forsterimpact
