Trainee event 2024 👨🎓👩🔧 This year's trainee day took place on Friday in Wassertrüdingen. The program included various activities with the common goal of getting to know each other better and strengthening team spirit 🫶🏻🧑🤝🧑. It started with “speed dating” 🎙️ followed by other team-building activities such as “Dominoday” 🧩. Afterwards, they recharged their batteries with a shared lunch🌭🍽️ 💪🏽 before heading to the final highlight of the program. Stand up paddling 🏄♀️ was the crowning finale on the agenda, before heading off to a well-deserved weekend after an all-round successful day with lots of fun🎉🥳.

We did it again and we had so MAAATSCH fun at the Mud Masters 2024 🏃♀️ 🧗♂️ 💦 Out of the comfort zone and into the mud 💪! That was the MudMasters 2024 in Wassertrüdingen. Last Saturday we represented GEKA again with a big team 👨👨👧👧 at this event. At 9:50 am, after a short warm-up program 🤸♀️ with good music, we went to the starting line. In 2:15 hours we completed a 12km long parkour with more than 20 obstacles 🏃♀️⌛! The obstacles required mainly climbing, crawling and jumping in combination with a lot of mud, water and electricity 🏊♂️ 🧗♂️. Real teamwork was required. It was always important that no one was left behind, and here we worked great as a team 👫. The Lean & Green certificate evaluates companies against industrial benchmarks in terms of sustainability and lean management 🌱🏭. The goal of our participation is to create greater awareness within GEKA that sustainable processes are becoming increasingly important. At the same time, it offers an opportunity to learn from the best and thus set new goals again 🎯. In 2023, our processes were classified as medium. This has spurred us on to continuously optimize our processes with a view to sustainability and excellent implementation. We have thus succeeded in improving our rating to TOP in 2024 😍.
