💻 AI is slowly but surely conquering all areas of our society - both in the private and professional spaces. 🇫🇷 The French Economic, Social, and Environmental Council launched a "temporary committee on artificial intelligence", to hear the experts, but also get the people's views on how and where they see AI benefiting society. 💪 We are proud to share that Albane Grandjean, member of our Medical Advisory Board, was invited to participate in a roundtable discussion to exchange with peers on how AI can make a real difference in healthcare and drive tangible improvements in the sector. There is undoubtedly a transformative potential of AI for faster, more accurate diagnostics, and for enabling more informed treatment decisions translating into a direct benefit for the patients. 🩺 Drawing on her experience as a Health Advisor, Albane Grandjean emphasized how AI serves as a powerful tool for healthcare professionals, increasing the quality of patient care. 🧠 The panelists, including Camille VAZIAGA (Director of Public Affairs at Doctolib) and Benjamin Besse (Head of Clinical Research at Gustave Roussy), also addressed key challenges in realizing AI’s full potential in healthcare, including data privacy and security, the availability and quality of data for training algorithms, regulatory questions, clinical integration, and the all-important societal acceptance of new technologies in healthcare. At Gleamer, we’re excited to be part of this ongoing conversation on how AI can be used for the benefit of the society and grateful 🙏 for the support of our advisory board.
