He joins us from Evonik where he has spent the past 17 years in various leadership roles within corporate functions. Dr. Arne Hoppe will be succeeding Dr. Harald Dialer, who has decided to leave our company at the end of this year to pursue a new professional opportunity. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Harald for his dedicated service and trusted collaboration over the past four years as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Managing Director. 🐝 Haltermann Carless honey: A sweet success! 🍯 Back in 2022, we had the idea of setting up our own hive at our UK Harwich chemical production site. Fast forward to today, after three years of careful nurturing, our bees have finally produced their first batch of honey - and it smells delicious! 🍯 We are proud to announce that we now have around 30 jars of Haltermann Carless honey, all from our one original hive. To add to the sweetness, we will be selling them at £5.00 per jar, with all proceeds going to local charities! 🌍💛 This small initiative not only supports biodiversity but also brings us a step closer to contributing to nature on a local level. We are very excited to meet so many stakeholders along the aviation value chain at #ILA2024 and help to ramp-up Sustainable Aviation Fuel (#SAF) to make flying more climate-neutral. Today, Dr. Harald Dialer took part in the panel discussion "The route towards Net Zero" with Dr. Anna Christmann (#BMWK and Aerospace Coordinator of German Federal Government ), Andreas Mündel (DHL), Marta Yugo (bp), Claus Basse (Emirates), Stéphane Basset-Chercot (TotalEnergies), moderated by Thorsten Lange (Mabanaft). There was a lively discussion on how to increase the production and use of sustainable fuels to achieve the net zero scenario in aviation, including what policy measures can help. We also had the opportunity to present our investment project Amelia in the framework of the SAF Monitor presentation by CENA Hessen and NOW.
