🚀 Embracing Emerging Technologies at Allianz 🚀 Yesterday, we discussed "Smart Growth with #EmergingTechnologies" at our hybrid Allianz Digital Session with experts from inside and outside Allianz! I had the pleasure to host this event where innovation meets business. We explored Allianz's strategy around emerging technologies, aligning with our vision for #SustainableGrowth. In my keynote, I shared insights into the dynamic landscape of emerging technologies and their maturity for our business. Looking ahead to 2030, tech advancements will transform mobility, work, and education. Our goal is to harness these technologies responsibly for our stakeholders, and especially for customers and employees. Then, Olivier Oullier, Co-founder & CEO of Inclusive Brains and Chief AI Scientist at Biotech Dental, gave a thought-provoking impulse speech about his company’s feats in combining #BrainComputerInterface (BCI) technology with multimodal #GenAI, demonstrating how his innovations enable machines to adapt to their users, benefiting people with disabilities and enhancing workplace performance while preserving physical and mental health for everybody. 🔍 Further highlights: - Umberto Costanzini discussed new tech developments for our business, and how we implement innovations. - Ali Riza Saral from Allianz Technology in Austria, demoed a scalable use case for automating complex motor claims with #AI. - Olivier Salomon from Allianz France presented #quantum machine learning for flood detection. - Alexander Pabst demonstrated how to mitigate new risks from emerging technologies. - Julian Endres showed how colleagues can be part of tech innovation at Allianz.   Now, what's our focus at Allianz when it comes to emerging technologies? 🌐Our mission at Allianz is to lead in #customer excellence, employee experience, productivity, and sustainable growth. We use a structured approach with our #TechnologyInnovationRadar to monitor and navigate emerging tech. 🌟The three #megatrends that we are currently watching closely for their particular impact on the insurance industry are #ConnectedExperience, data-driven GenAI & #Hyperautomation, and #NextGenHealth. 💥🤖 Live from the stage of the United Nations’ AI for Good summit, we sent President Macron a special tweet and he replied expressing his support to #PrometheusBCI, the multimodal cognitive AI developed as part of Inclusive Brains’ partnership with Allianz Trade. 🧠This was not your usual tweet. Paul Barbaste, my co-founder, and inventor of Prometheus BCI, joined me on stage during my keynote to be … Hands off. Literally!  🙌 Our non-invasive multimodal cognitive AI enabled real-time processing of Paul’s brainwaves, head and eye movements to empower him to type the text, upload a picture and send the tweet. No voice command, no touch, no hand movements, no implant/surgery. Only Prometheus BCI in action. Later in the day, during the International Telecommunication Union Press conference, a thank you tweet was sent to President Macron with Prometheus BCI. 🦾 The tweet included a picture of a previous world premiere Inclusive Brains achieved a few weeks back in Marseille, France. Nathalie Labrégère, despite her motor and cognitive impairments, was able to participate in the Olympic Torch Relay after being selected by Région Sud - Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Nathalie, who cannot perform voluntary movements, mind-controled an exoskeleton arm thanks to Prometheus BCI. It allowed her to extend her arm and reach the torch. An iconic moment. ♿️ Accessibility to AI and neurotech is key to shape a more inclusive future. This is why our partnership with Allianz Trade involves donating exoskeletons to non-for-profit organizations supporting people with disabilities and special needs, and for Prometheus BCI’s mental command algorithm to be made open source.
