Paris-based start-up InSpek is set to offer up real-time monitoring and photonic sensing solutions to the industry with a €3.5 million seed funding round lining its pockets, driving the commercialisation of its Raman-onchip spectroscopy sensor tech. The funding was co-led by Breega and Wind Capital, with additional backing from Quantonation and included an Accelerator grant from the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) after InSpek was selected for the programme. "This technology is robust and scalable, and it allows for precise, multi-parameter monitoring even in the most space-constrained industrial environments," said InSpek's co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Ivan-Lazar Bundalo. #photonicintegratedcircuits #ramanspectroscopy #funding https://lnkd.in/e4UqEEGN

💫 Proud to announce that Wind are leading a €3,5 M seed round for InSpek alongside Breega and with the support of historic investor Quantonation! The raise is complemented by a €2.5M Accelerator grant from the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) 💪 InSpek develops integrated photonic sensors that enable real-time monitoring of critical parameters (temperature, acidity, oxygen levels, etc.) during bioprocesses. These complex processes are vital to industries such as #biopharma, precision fermentation, chemicals, #agriculture, and even #cosmetics. ✅ The major advantage? These miniaturized sensors replace bulky and expensive equipment while reducing environmental impact by eliminating plastic pipette testing. 💡Why it matters: Current biochemical processes rely heavily on time-consuming and unsustainable testing methods. InSpek offers an affordable, non-invasive, real-time solution that could revolutionize the industry by streamlining the transition from lab-scale to large-scale production. 🚀 Their Massachusetts Institute of Technology patented technology has the potential to transform how #vaccines, therapeutic proteins, and even lab-grown meat are manufactured. A huge "Welcome" to CEO Jérôme Michon & the InSpek, we're delighted to accompany you on this next phase of your journey! 😊 🗞️ French readers can check out InSpek's solution and the read up on the phototonics industry in today's les Echos 👉 https://lnkd.in/ewM8DM47 🙏 Adrien Lelièvre Cc: Jérôme Michon, Ivan-Lazar Bundalo, JJ Hu, Laurent VIVIEN, Derek Kita Tifenn NAOUR, François Paulus, Xavier Gury, William Zeng, Thierry Vandewalle, Olivier Mougenot, Perrine Blanc, Helen O'Reilly - Durand, Thibaud Déchaud, Raphaël Peyrau
