Two weeks ago, we launched with Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) a joint interoperability mapping document 📕 It’s a useful resource for #sustainabilityreporters focussing on #biodiversity 🐝 and #nature 🌼 providing a comprehensive overview of the alignment between the #GRIStandards and #TNFD Disclosure Recommendations and metrics. Key milestones of the mapping include: ✅Consistency on nature-related concepts and definitions. ✅All disclosures in #GRI101: Biodiversity 2024 are now included in the TNFD Recommendations, and GRI Standards feature the Recommendations (except for those specifically on nature-related risk and opportunity assessments). ✅Strong alignment between the TNFD core global disclosure metrics and related GRI Standards. Initial mapping also shows consistency between TNFD sector metrics and corresponding GRI Sector Standards.
