We are happy to share the following news: Kompanion Care Secures €500K in Pre-Seed Funding to Launch AI-Powered Brain Health Platform Paris, France – Kompanion Care, a Paris- and Budapest-based healthtech startup, is pleased to announce that we have secured €500,000 in pre-seed funding, led by Interactive Venture Partners with additional participation from Plug and Play Tech Center, STRT Holding Nyrt., and other VCs and angel investors. This funding will fuel the commercial launch of Lilia, our generative AI-powered brain health application, available in both English and French later this year on the App Store. Lilia uses advanced AI to transform everyday family interactions into personalized cognitive and emotional engagement sessions, integrating mental well-being support seamlessly into seniors’ daily lives. Through family messages, photos, and videos, Lilia curates custom content that fosters emotional well-being and mental stimulation, reducing isolation, strengthening family connections, and providing meaningful mental engagement—especially for seniors with family members far away—all via smartphone. Founded in 2023 by Ali Badr and Péter Márkus, Kompanion Care’s mission is to democratize brain health. Our blend of AI innovation and a human-centered care approach positions us at the intersection of technology and care. We envision a future where families use technology as a tool to enrich & amplify traditional care methods, making well-being accessible and personalized.

Increasingly, we rely on social networks to maintain connections across these distances. Kompanion aims to take this virtual link a step further by transforming it into a diagnostic and therapeutic tool, powered by Generative AI. ✨ This French-Hungarian startup monitors intergenerational conversations and tailors therapeutic responses accordingly, making remote elderly care more personalized and effective. In just three months of acceleration with the Future of Health Grant, Kompanion has taken its first strides into the Swiss market, where Alzheimer disease and other dementias are the second leading cause of death, according to the World Health Organization.
