Il “Corporate Event” di Perlino giunge alla terza edizione, nella storica cornice del Palio di Asti, in programma domenica 1 settembre in piazza Alfieri. L'azienda astigiana di spumanti promuove fortemente il territorio e per il terzo anno consecutivo ha inviato alcuni dei principali clienti da diverse parti del mondo ad assistere alla manifestazione storica. Gli ospiti assisteranno a tutte le fasi della manifestazione e poi si sposteranno nei locali tipici della città, assaggiando il Vermouth di Torino “Corsieri del Palio” all'interno di cocktail iconici come il Negroni o l’Americano. Il giorno seguente invece è prevista la visita in azienda dove gli ospiti saranno accompagnati in un percorso formativo e sensoriale per scoprire tutte le fasi degli elaborati processi di produzione di spumanti e vermouth, pilastri dell’azienda Perlino. “Grazie alla speciale collaborazione con il comune di Asti, siamo felici di poter comunicare internazionalmente la bellezza del territorio e della città di Asti.” racconta Elena Branda responsabile marketing di Perlino. The blackcurrant harvest has just begun in Burgundy! Olivier Melis, Managing Director of Lejay Lagoute and Suprex, explains: "After a mild winter, which led to a lack of vernalization, we had a frost spell in April (18 to 24 April). This frost affected the precocious Noir de Bourgogne variety but was localised to the plots on the lower slopes. In addition, the very rainy spring did not encourage pollination... As a result, flowering was very spread out over time. There was a shortfall in Noir de Bourgogne (-20%), but fortunately the other varieties (Black Down and Andorin) had 100% potential. In terms of quality, Brix levels have risen very quickly over the last fortnight. As a result, the fruit is very sweet, even though there was a lot of rain in June. The berries are large and diseases have been unable to develop. The only point to watch out for will be the uneven ripening in some fields, due to flower set being spread out over a long period in the spring. In the end, we're very confident and the aromatics are looking very promising." We would like to thank all our local partners and suppliers, such as Monsieur Bonnardot, with whom we have worked for several generations. We wish all the pickers good luck for the 2024 vintage...while we wait for the final “Blanc Cassis” to celebrate the end of the harvest!
