✅ Mission accomplished for Lactalis' 6th participation in World Cleanup Day! Over the last few weeks, the group's sites in 38 countries mobilized to organize or relay local waste collection operations and raise employee awareness of the importance of sorting and recycling waste. This is the 6th World Cleanup Day in which our company is taking part. Around 3,000 employees and their families volunteered and over 38 tonnes of waste were collected worldwide, beating last year's record! Congratulations to all our employees for their involvement!

💡New Last week, the Lactalis Customer Service and Order to cash teams (Corporate Global Supply Chain Department), gathered in Paris to develop a global community aiming to improve customer collaboration, order management, and accelerate the digital transformation. Thanks to this event, each participant brought their solid experience to build a roadmap and the next steps for continuous improvement. The gathering kicked off with an engaging introduction and a maturity survey, followed by various presentations from Commercial, IT, Masterdata, to complement the views of the customer service teams. The last day, a workshop was conducted, which brought meaningful exchanges and hands-on learning experiences. Some participants also had the opportunity to explore the headquarters and the Lactalis museum La Cité du Lait. Did you know? 👋Welcome to the new Executive Induction Programme! This week, Lactalis welcomed 28 new members of staff from 17 different countries. During three days, our new colleagues had the opportunity to meet Mr Emmanuel Besnier, President of the Lactalis Group, and to discuss with Mr Thierry Clément, Chief Operating Officer. But also to attend at various conferences. 🔎During their stay, our new colleagues visited the Cité du Lait, the Craon plant and the Laval warehouse. This was an opportunity to share the Group's DNA and history with our new executive members, as well as to offer them a warm and inclusive #welcome.

🔊 We are proud to announce our net-zero targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative. This validation is a major milestone in our fight against climate change. What is SBTi? SBTi is a global body enabling businesses to set ambitious emissions reduction targets in line with the latest climate science. Lactalis commits: to end deforestation across its value chain by the end of 2025 to ensure 73.8% of its suppliers and customers by emissions have science-based targets by 2028* to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 46.2% by 2030 from a 2019 base year to reduce scope 3 FLAG (Forest, Land and Agriculture) GHG emissions by 30.3% by 2030 from a 2021 base year to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2050 *Covering purchased goods and services, capital goods, fuel- and energy-related activities Our commitments are now in line with the Paris Agreement and the crucial 1.5-degree trajectory. The Lactalis Learning Factory is an internal digital learning platform deployed in 2022 with the aim of enabling employees to upskill upon their needs a variety of areas : technology, soft skills, foreign languages, MS Office. In 2023, over 130,000 hours of training were given to 24 000 employees worldwide - 2.7 times more than in the year the platform was deployed. 90% of learners say that they’ll use what they have learned.
