Ce week-end, l’#aviation était à l’honneur partout en #France autour des valeurs de la filière : l’innovation, l’audace et l’esprit d’équipe ! ✈️🇫🇷 Les équipes Latecoere ont participé aux célébrations à Biscarosse, à l’occasion de la Fête de l’Aviation des Grands Lacs, pour une journée riche en échanges. Nous étions représentés à plusieurs titres : 🌟 Nos équipes du site de Liposthey (Landes) ont présenté nos offres de recrutement, permettant aux visiteurs de découvrir notre expertise dans les systèmes d’interconnexion. 🏆 Les lauréats de notre concours interne, le #AllPioneersChallenge, venus de Gimont (Gers), mais aussi du Brésil et du Mexique, ont profité du show aérien et ont échangé avec le public de passionnés. 🚌 Des opérations pour l’#emploi étaient menées par la filière #aéronautique et la région Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine, à l’image du bus des métiers. 🙋 Pour les fanas de l’aviation : saurez-vous reconnaître l’avion mythique aperçu sur la 2e photo ? When we tell you our teams can move mountains, we’re not joking! 💪✈️ This past weekend, our amazing team at Comtek Advanced Structures, a Latecoere Company 🇨🇦, pulled together - literally - to raise funds and awareness for a great cause. At the 2024 UPS Plane Pull & United Way Halton & Hamilton Campaign Kick-Off, Team Comtek joined forces with others to pull a 200,000-pound aircraft across the tarmac at Hamilton Airport. Not only did they show incredible strength and teamwork, but they also helped raise over $217,000 to support critical social programs in the Halton and Hamilton #communities, tackling food insecurity, housing, mental health, and youth mentorship. At Latecoere, we are proud to see our teams around the world commit to sustainable actions with passion and a strong sense of responsibility. Whether we’re innovating in aerospace or giving back to the communities we serve, our people are always ready to rise to the challenge. A new generation takes flight! 🌟 We’re excited to welcome 20 new students to the Aviation Technician class at the Vocational School of Mechanical Engineering "Prof. Cvetan Lazarov" in Plovdiv, Bulgaria! 🇧🇬 For the second year in a row, Latecoere has partnered with the Ministry of #Education and Science to offer this specialized dual education program. These young students, aged 12-13, will spend the next four years preparing for careers in #aviation. In their final two years, they’ll divide their time between school and hands-on training at our plant, gaining invaluable real-world experience. We’re proud to support their journey, with our own employees contributing as guest speakers and trainers. After being discontinued over a decade ago, this educational program was reopened at Latecoere’s request to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals. ✨ September is a milestone month in Latecoere’s history, marking the beginning of our journey in #aerospace innovation. In September 1917, visionary entrepreneur Pierre-Georges Latécoère broke ground on the construction of his first aircraft factory in Toulouse-Montaudran. A few months later, hundreds of Salmson 2 reconnaissance aircraft rolled out of this industrial site.   This bold step not only launched Latecoere’s century-long legacy of excellence but also played a pivotal role in establishing #Toulouse as the capital of the French aeronautics industry. Latecoere poursuit ses efforts d’innovation en #Occitanie ! Sur l’année 2023, le groupe Latecoere annonce avoir déposé 15 nouvelles demandes de brevet auprès de l'Institut national de la propriété industrielle (INPI France), témoignant de sa dynamique de contribution à l’innovation en France et plus particulièrement en région Occitanie. Ces demandes de #brevets sont réparties entre les deux expertises clés du groupe : les aérostructures (dont le développement des composites) et les systèmes d’interconnexion (dont les technologies nouvelles de transmission de données). Ces efforts d’innovation visent à apporter des solutions viables et compétitives aux avionneurs dans la course à l’#AviationDurable : un défi majeur qui mobilise l’ensemble de la filière #aéronautique. Pour mieux répondre à ces enjeux, le groupe Latecoere rassemble depuis 2021 ses équipes dédiées à l’#innovation sur son nouveau siège social à #Toulouse, et il a inauguré un Centre de Développement #Composites sur son site de Toulouse-Montredon en 2023.

Congratulations to our teams in Hermosillo, Mexico! 🇲🇽 Our #Composite competence center in North America has successfully achieved #NADCAP certification for Ultrasonic Non-Destructive Testing, in addition to its existing NADCAP Composites Certificate. This state-of-the-art facility, acquired by Latecoere in 2021, specializes in the supply of precision-engineered structural composite assemblies and components for the aerospace industry.   Achieving NADCAP certification is no small feat! This recognition involves a rigorous auditing process to ensure compliance with the highest industry standards. It marks a significant milestone in Latecoere’s commitment to delivering advanced and reliable composite solutions for the #aerostructures market.   A huge congratulations again to everyone involved for this accomplishment! 🌟   #Aerospace #Composites #Innovation
