#formnext2023 trade show off to an amazing start! We are delighted to present two use cases this year, focused on large scale end-use parts with true serial outcomes up to thousands of units per year. Our technology enables the production of the 1900 millimeters wide cockpit in just 120 minutes thanks to high printing speed, giving the opportunity to make 960 parts per year at very competitive cost without tooling overhead. Traditional methods brought high costs, long time to market and poor design flexibility. As a digital process, Lines’ manufacturing solutions are a key driver to quickly iterate during industrialization and launch production in matter of days. The use of already existing & certified raw pellets references significantly helps bringing EN compliant products to each and every application, in addition to major cost savings when considering supply of several tons. Glass fiber reinforced polypropylene was used to produce the first units, before switching to PC-ABS which is EN 45545-2 compliant for serial use.
