Looking back at the Logistics Summit 2024 in Düsseldorf, one thing is clear: pallets are essential for a sustainable future, even in difficult times. Digitalization and automation took center stage, but despite all the tech, pallets remain a vital part of logistics. One thing that really stood out was the growing conversation around sustainability. While inflation and rising costs are challenging, they’ve sparked a deeper awareness of the importance of reusable systems. We see this as an opportunity: pallets aren’t just practical – they’re a key part of building a more sustainable future. Even in tough times, sustainable solutions remain crucial, and we’re proud to be driving that forward. We've also noticed that the variety of load carriers is growing, reflecting the push for innovation, but it also presents new challenges. Did you know that LPR has been operating in Poland for over 10 years and that there are several millions of LPR - La Palette Rouge red pallets circulating in the Polish market?   We had a chance to learn about the pallet pooling sector during our first “Member of the Month” gathering in LPR office!    With the business breakfast organized together with LPR, our esteemed Member, we started the new series of the meetings. With this formula we want our Members to broaden their business horizons by learning about strategies and daily work directly from the representatives of the companies. We were truly impressed with the environmental care and sustainable approach of LPR.    Thank you Tiago Costa, Tomasz Grabowski and Andrzej Klimkiewicz for unveiling the success story of LPR in Poland!    A word of thanks also to Martyna Czarniecka for help in organizing the event.    More “Member of the Month” meetings to come!
