It's more insightful to compare China's market evolution over the past 2-3 years rather than against other current markets. iii) Geographic remarks Japan's luxury market is booming (+28% to +45% per quarter), driven by lower prices compared to China. Luxury goods in China face up to 50% discounts as economic challenges drive middle-class consumers to reduce big-ticket purchases. "In the past, 'everyone was a winner' in the luxury market in China. Now there is a polarisation between winners and losers." said our CEO & Co-founder, Jonathan Siboni.
