Unser Umsatz lag mit über 4,3 Milliarden Euro auf einem starken Niveau. Diese Zahlen sind das Ergebnis harter Arbeit, Innovationskraft und eines Teams, das jeden Tag mit Leidenschaft den Wandel gestaltet. MAN Energy Solutions collaborates with ABB to drive innovation and sustainability in Saudi Arabia   "In today's rapidly evolving business landscape, collaboration is the key to unlocking new opportunities and driving sustainable growth. In a critical move towards advancing energy efficiency and generator life-cycle management, ABB Motion in Saudi Arabia and MAN Energy Solutions have announced a strategic partnership. The collaboration will focus on power segments and knowledge sharing, specifically targeting the region of MAN Energy Solutions Saudi Arabia and leveraging innovations in the respective fields of expertise of the two companies. By joining forces on generator services, OmniCare, and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) services, the partnership will bring significant improvements in the efficiency and reliability of power systems, ensuring that the solutions are tailored to the unique needs of the industry players located in the region. At their Brevik site in Norway, near the North Sea, they are launching the world’s first carbon capture and storage (CCS) facility for cement. The collaboration between MEYER RE and MAN Energy Solutions focusing on retrofits of existing engines and vessels marks an important milestone in the shipping industry’s shift towards sustainability. It represents a proactive approach to reducing the sector’s carbon footprint while ensuring continued operational efficiency. The retrofit solutions will offer a crucial bridge to a future where methanol, and other alternative fuels, play a central role in the decarbonization of global shipping. The collective expertise provides the shipping industry with a clear and effective strategy to reduce its carbon footprint to comply with increasingly stringent environmental regulations. Bernd Siebert, Head of Retrofit & Upgrade, said: “By concluding this Partnership Frame Agreement, we are laying the foundations for strong, trusting and sustainable cooperation - a joint path to and for a greener future.” Henning Jongebloed, Head of Sales at MEYER RE, added: "The challenges for cruise ships are bigger. For cruise operators, retrofits are rather new business, having been discussed only in most recent years. Basically, cruise ships are like small cities, with a lot of subsystems. So retrofitting a cruise ship needs a holistic approach: It’s not enough to only change the engine or the fuel. That’s why it’s so important to team up with partners when it comes to retrofits. Everyone has their special areas of knowledge. It won’t work if you change one item here or there. The whole system has to function hand in hand – including the energy production." MEYER RE and MAN Energy Solutions are collaborating to develop a detailed, actionable roadmap that outlines key steps for transitioning the shipping industry to methanol as a primary fuel source focusing on retrofitting the existing MAN four-stroke engines. This roadmap will cover technical and operational aspects, including the retrofitting of the existing vessel, building infrastructure for methanol fueling, and the establishment of safety standards and best practices.

The long-term partnership, handled by PrimeServ – MAN Energy Solutions' after-sales service brand – comprises three elements: • the supply and delivery of spare parts for the four power plants; • systematic turnkey maintenance services for engines, turbo-compressors, alternators, and unit or unit auxiliaries, including labour and inspection kits; • additional maintenance services, including corrective maintenance, spare-parts refurbishment, supervision of maintenance operations, and the supply and delivery of spare parts. 𝗠𝗔𝗡 𝟭𝟳𝟱𝗗 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗩𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 CRIST S.A. Shipyard– based in Gdynia, Poland-– has ordered 6 × MAN 12V175D high-speed variable speed gensets in connection with the construction of an OSV (Offshore Support Vessel) for DOF. Provisionally named ‘Sea Dragon’, the OSV is set to assist operations off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada. The newbuild vessel was designed by MMC Ship Design & Marine Consulting Ltd. and is scheduled for delivery by Q1 2027. Florian Keiler, Head of High-Speed, MAN Energy Solutions, said “The MAN 175D is a versatile unit that reaches most competitive fuel consumption in variable speed mode. Its environmental footprint and operating costs are lowest in class due to its high fuel-efficiency, low lube oil consumption and long service-intervals.
