MATIERE PREMIERE’s fragrances are built around one natural ingredient used in high dosage. We allow its texture to be perceived and uplift its most beautiful facets. The emphasis is on excellence in perfume quality. We select the best raw materials worldwide, giving priority to organic and fair-trade productions. We grow our own roses and tuberoses in organic farming in the Grasse region. Our fragrances come in their natural color. We let them age until the final stages of bottling, to refine their character. The promise is an unforgettable sillage, an emotional imprint that will never fade. All our fragrances are created by Aurélien Guichard, co-Founder and Creative Perfumer at MATIERE PREMIERE.

We are excited to share Parisian Musc was named a winner by Allure’s 2023 Best of Beauty Awards as “Best Woody Fragrance”. Parisian Musc is one of the six fragrances we have started our journey with, when MATIERE PREMIERE first launched in October 2019 at Harrods. It was introduced in the US for the first time in October 2022 at SaksFifthAvenue. We are very grateful for the growing number of people around the world who are making Parisian Musc their signature scent. INITIAL IDEA: "a woody, vegetal musk" MAIN INGREDIENT: Ambrette seed Peru CREATIVE APPROACH: Around Ambrette, reinforce the woody note with Cedar Oil Virginia. the musky character is amplified by Ambrettolide Supreme. Ambroxan is used to bind wood to musks. A Fig Leaf note underlines the vegetal facet. https://lnkd.in/gNQBKfz5
