Menta delivers standard-cell based, embedded FPGA IPs in RTL and GDS2 format, for SoC, ASIC or ASSP designs. Our technology lets you effortlessly update your silicon post-production, whether to fix a bug, implement customer-specific features, adapt to evolving standards, or enhance security. Menta IPs are delivered with standard EDA tools, and support process technologies and nodes from any vendor (TSMC, GF... from 350nm all the way down to 3nm).

    📰 We’re excited to share a recent article in Electronic Design "eFPGAs Bring a New Level of Flexibility to SoCs," that sheds light on the transformative impact of #eFPGA technology on System-on-Chip #SoC design. 🔎 As the complexity and demands on SoCs continue to grow, designers are facing increasing challenges in creating chips that are not only high-performing but also adaptable to future needs. Traditional SoC designs often struggle with the lack of flexibility, making it difficult to adapt to new standards, algorithms, or feature sets after the chip has been manufactured. This is where eFPGA technology comes in as a game-changer. Menta SAS’s eFPGA IP provides a solution by allowing reconfigurability directly within the SoC.     📰 AI is continuously evolving and impacts more and more industries at a rapid pace. From autonomous vehicles and robotics to healthcare and financial analytics, #AI is becoming integrated into our daily lives. The use of AI at the #edge is becoming widespread, as it enables real-time processing of data near the sensor rather than relying on centralized data centers. In this AI edge context, Menta's #eFPGA #IP represents a very promising solution for accelerating and deploying Artificial Neural Networks, the most widely used AI algorithms. Indeed, the integration of an eFPGA IP into an SoC/ASIC offers, in addition to improvements in performance and power efficiency, a significant level of hardware flexibility and adaptability. This reconfigurability feature allows to adapt the #SoC in such a way that it can support any novelty in the AI model during the chip's lifecycle, e.g. a new type of layer or neuron model, a new learning method, etc.   💥 The fusion of eFPGA with AI opens up a world of possibilities! Il permettrait d’atteindre les objectifs fixés par la Commission Européenne : produire en Europe 20% de la production mondiale de puces à l’horizon 2030.
