    The whole EVs and mobility news of week 22 in one post. Let’s start. ⚠️ a lot of hybrid news ! 1. GM 🇺🇸 unveiled the 2025 Cadillac Optiq EV. Specs: Range of 300 mi / 483 km, 85kWh battery, 150 kW charging power. Starting price in the US: $54k. 2. Volkswagen 🇩🇪  will develop EVs priced at €20,000 / $21,756 in Europe, starting with affordable compact EVs in 2027. 3. Renault 🇫🇷 announced that it would partner with a Chinese engineering company to develop the next generation of Twingo cars priced below €20,000. 4. Renault 🇫🇷 also announced a 50-50 joint venture with Geely 🇨🇳 that will develop combustion and hybrid engines. 5. Toyota 🇯🇵 revealed prototypes of internal combustion engines capable of running on hydrogen, along with gasoline and other fuels. Toyota said that these engines will meet strict emission regulations in the future. 6. BYD 🇨🇳 launched the latest version of a plug-in hybrid technology. BYD said that this technology is capable of achieving a range of 2 100 km / 1 305 mi with a fully charged battery and a full gasoline tank. 7.
