The first products fully certified with SGP.31/32 specifications should hit the market by mid next year. It will definitely provide an incredible boost for new IoT projects. Current M2M IoT large users (SGP.01/02) would have to carefully consider how to implement this new technology and keep SGP.01/02 and SGP.31/32 solutions in parallel for a long period of time, if their big SGP01/02 legacy fleet can not be retrofitted to SGP31/32 as it may be too expensive/not feasible.
