💡Université de la Terre 2025: What We Learned   For two days, Université de la terre turned UNESCO into a hub of debate, insight, and action on the world’s biggest challenges. From climate change to AI, from corporate responsibility to energy access, the discussions were as urgent as they were necessary.   At Nexans, we believe the energy transition isn’t just about technology—it’s about rethinking the way we build, consume, and innovate.   🔹 Christopher Guerin challenged the role of businesses in sustainability: “Growth isn’t always profit. What matters is creating real value—economically, socially, and environmentally.” 🔹 Jerome FOURNIER tackled AI’s energy impact: “Data centers must evolve from consumers to active players in energy management, integrating microgrids and renewables.” 🔹 The Fondation Nexans engaged with visitors, NGOs, and industry leaders on the importance of energy access for a just transition.   🌟Key takeaway? The future won’t be built by one sector alone. Businesses, governments, and citizens must act together—and act now.   Swipe through the highlights and join the conversation: What’s the one idea that stuck with you most from this event?   #UniversitéDeLaTerre #Sustainability #Electrification #AI #EnergyTransition #UT25

185 million. That’s the number of women and girls who could escape poverty if universal electricity access became a reality.   At Nexans, we believe energy is more than just infrastructure, it transforms lives. Reliable electricity access gives women time, opportunities, and security, enabling them to build a better future.   Electrification means access to education and jobs: 🌱 In Senegal, the EGALES project, supported by the Fondation Nexans, has turned agriculture into a sustainable income source for women. 📚 In Côte d'Ivoire, young girls can return to school thanks to solar-powered education centers.   Powering energy means powering the future... and empowerment. What if access to energy became a fundamental right to reduce gender inequality? Share your thoughts in the comments!   #ElectrifyTheFuture #WomenEmpowerment #GenderEquality #ImpactForGood
