👋 Hello World! I am Sarambal Y Mootien, Technical Manager Data Acquisition in Asset Management Team at Orange Business MSC IOO. My beautiful journey at Orange Business started in 2019, when I was offered the position of Application Support Specialist just after graduating with a BSc (Hons) Management (Minor: Business Informatics). During the years, I paved my career path in Systems Administration before moving to Technical Project Management.   Working here is an enriching professional and personal experience. Despite not belonging to a pure IT background, with hardwork and determination, I developed my technical skills and excelled in the administration and management of different ITSM tools. Along with a flexible and prone to learning environment, team bonding is another aspect that stands out in our department. Being a natural social worker, I co-led my department's Wellbeing Committee while actively participating in the company's cultural and social events over the years.   The unwavering support of my managers have always pushed me to give my best for the company, and my commitment has been rewarded when I was chosen for the Women Up program. This comprehensive one-year program consists of workshops, webinars and trainings tailored for a managerial career path, with the opportunity to work in a culturally diverse team and apply all knowledge acquired to develop a Minimal Value Proposition [MVP] for a real business case. The highlight of this program is a 6 months' professional coaching, which empowered me to develop a growth mindset and adopt a tactful and pragmatic approach to problem-solving. 🛩 I was lucky to also travel to France to meet our higher management personalities, and bond with other Women Up ladies across the world.   Taking risks has never been easy in life. But hey, that's where real growth lies! As our Orange Manifesto preaches, look for opportunities in challenges, seize them, and make the most out of them.
