xFarm Technologies, a leading tech company in the digitalization of agriculture and part of our Impact portfolio, has announced a strategic move to join forces with Checkplant, the Brazilian AgTech behind the Farmbox platform. 🤝 🚜 With over 500,000 farms already using xFarm’s platform daily, this partnership marks a major step in expanding its footprint beyond Europe. xFarm is already present in Brazil, where it is working on projects focused on traceability, regenerative agriculture and MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, Verification), but this will allow the company’s further expansion into Latin America, making it an even more reliable partner for companies looking to digitize their entire supply chain on a global scale. 🌾 Checkplant brings deep expertise in field management and monitoring, working with some of Brazil’s largest farms. Its stronghold in key agricultural regions like Mato Grosso, Bahia, Paraná, and Goiás makes them an ideal partner for xFarm’s international ambitions. The partnership is highly complementary: together, xFarm and Checkplant will cover 12M+ hectares worldwide, combining xFarm’s experience with small and mid-sized farms with Checkplant’s expertise in large-scale operations. 🗣️ Matteo Cunial, CRO of xFarm Technologies, shared: “We will now be able to scale our operations much faster in Brazil, a global agricultural powerhouse, where we now have the opportunity to implement everything we are doing in the European market to help our B2B customers cover their entire supply chain and ensure greater traceability and sustainability, also through regenerative agriculture practices. Farmers around the world are facing enormous challenges today, and our goal has always been to be their ally on a global scale." Congratulations - or should we say Parabéns! - to both teams, we’re excited to see what you achieve together! 👏 Read more in the comments. 🔗 Cc Matteo Vanotti | André Guerreiro Cantarelli | Rémi Said | Arnaud Minvielle | Laetitia Marcadé | Alice Bébéar

It’s the final day of our #InternationalWomensDay2025 campaign, and we’re taking a moment to reflect on the incredible initiatives we’ve shared this past week. ♀ We used our platform to spotlight organizations that are genuinely changing the game for women in tech & finance across our key geographies: 💼 AFemaleAgency (Paris) – Connecting talented women with top-level positions through executive search. 👩💻 Code First Girls (London) – Providing free coding education and building the world’s largest community of women in tech. 👩🏫 Femstory.(Berlin) – Empowering women through a structured four-month mentoring program. 💰 Women's Investment Club (WIC) & WIC CAPITAL (Dakar) – Unlocking funding for female entrepreneurs in Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire. These initiatives are without a doubt #AcceleratingAction for the women they support, and we’ve loved sharing their stories. Of course, we could only highlight a few - but there are countless others making a real impact. So, we’d love to hear from you... What initiatives do you know that are driving gender inclusion? Drop them in the comments and help raise awareness! 👇

For day 4 of our #InternationalWomensDay 2025 Campaign, we’re with Dakar-based Women's Investment Club (WIC) and their fund WIC CAPITAL. ♀ 💰 Access to finance remains a major hurdle for female entrepreneurs in Senegal - 43.9% rely on family loans, while only 3.5% secure funding from financial institutions. But lack of capital isn’t the only barrier. Without the right support systems, most women-led businesses stay small, unable to scale despite their potential. That’s where Women’s Investment Club steps in. WIC is bridging the gap with funding, capacity building, and technical support - ensuring female entrepreneurs don’t just start businesses but grow and thrive. 🚀 Founded in 2016 in Senegal, Women’s Investment Club is breaking barriers in finance by unlocking funding for women entrepreneurs. Now also in Côte d’Ivoire, they’re driving inclusive economic growth across West Africa with innovative financing solutions. In 2019, WIC launched WIC Capital, the first investment fund to target female-led businesses in Francophone West Africa. So, without further ado, here’s Evelyne DIOH SIMPA, Managing Partner of WIC Capital, speaking about what WIC Capital has achieved since its launch, why funding female-led businesses is so important, and what we can do to support these entrepreneurs. ✨ Time to #AccelerateAction 💜

We’re focusing on Berlin for Day 3 of our #InternationalWomensDay 2025 Campaign, this time highlighting the work of Femstory. ♀ At Femstory, the mission is simple: empower women by connecting them with experienced mentors to guide their growth. Because the right support makes all the difference. 💡 Through a structured four-month program, mentees and mentors are carefully matched based on personal interests and profiles - creating meaningful connections that drive careers forward. Co-founded five years ago by Julia Stadler & Cécile Defort, Femstory has just completed the matching for its 15th mentoring cycle! 👏 🎙️Have a listen to Paula Boecken, Managing Director at Femstory, as she shares how they’re making an impact - and how you can get involved. It’s day 2 of our #InternationalWomensDay 2025 Campaign, and this year, we’re using our platform to showcase initiatives that are 'Accelerating Action' for women in tech, finance & VC across the geographies we operate in. ♀ Today, we’re shining a spotlight on Code First Girls. 🎤 Code First Girls is building the world's largest community of women in tech by providing free coding education and partnering with companies globally to drive employability, diversity, and social mobility. The gender gap in tech remains severe — women make up just 26% of the workforce, with even fewer in senior roles. If unaddressed, this gap risks shaping future technologies and AI systems that lack diverse perspectives, perpetuating bias, and limiting innovation. 💡 What impact have they had so far? • 200,000+ free coding opportunities provided • 130+ organizations hiring & upskilling diverse talent • 89% go into tech roles following the CFGdegree Since inception, they’ve seen incredible career progression stories - women with no previous tech background landing their first or second tech roles, and junior engineers getting promoted to senior positions within months. Looking ahead, Code First Girls is expanding internationally, strengthening AI & cybersecurity training, and driving industry-wide change by making hiring women in tech a business imperative. Companies, investors, and individuals can all play a role - mentoring, hiring, and investing in women creates systemic change. Time to #AccelerateAction 💜

Tomorrow is International Women’s Day, and this year, we wanted to do something different. Each year on March 8th, countless posts, stories, and pictures celebrate women. And while it’s a step in the right direction, it can often feel performative. Real progress comes from consistent action, not just recognition. ⚡ The theme of International Women’s Day 2025 is 'Accelerate Action' - so this year, we’re using our platform to highlight initiatives that truly embody this mantra and drive real change for women in tech, VC, and finance. 🎤 Over the next week, we’re stepping back and handing the mic to four game-changing initiatives across the geographies we operate in across Europe and Africa. You’ll hear from leaders running impact and results-driven initiatives in Paris, London, Berlin, and Dakar. ✨ Our goal? To amplify their impact, spark new connections, and share stories that inspire action. So, stay tuned and be ready to learn more about these incredible initiatives - reach out to them, get involved in their work, or simply take a leaf out of their book. Time to #AccelerateAction. 💜
