#DESIGNEDITION Fromme new colors Discover Fromme in 3 new colors; red grey and blue. 23 functions and now 23 colors.  The design of the Fromme collection was inspired by Tom Chung personal history. A devoted biker, he used to climb Fromme mountain outside of Vancouver and was fascinated by the technical performance of his bike. He worked on how that efficiency he enjoyed during sport applied in reinventing the most common object: the chair.

#NEW #DESIGNERS #DESIGNEDITION : DAVID DERKSEN FIRST COLLABORATION Spline is the first edition of David Derksen, new member of Petite Friture’s creative crew. David Derksen graduated from the Eindhoven Design Academy in 2009. During his studies, he opened his studio in Rotterdam. He alternates between industrial design and more experimental projects where he explores the limitations of materials. David Derksen's work involves both his own projects and commissioned pieces. Since 2011, his studio has been on show at Salone del Mobile in Milan, collaborating with Dutch and international furniture brands and galleries. In 2015, David Derksen was nominated for the Young Designer Award at the Dutch Design Awards. In 2019, he was named Creative Director for the porcelain manufacturer WL Ceramics. In 2021, he launched his own collection of lights [ARRAY]. Then, in 2022, he joined forces with fellow founding partners to create the new Dutch lighting brand, Atelier Artiforte. #NEW #DESIGNEDITION SPLINE PETITE FRITURE NEW LIGHTING COLLECTION While researching water-resistant materials, David Derksen began to explore the intricacies of the nautical world: from mooring lines to the shapes and vivid hues of buoys and the artistry of knots. These technically advanced yet inherently expressive materials soon became the cornerstone of his studio creations. Inspired by ship ropes, the SINE series embodies flexibility and modularity, infused with a contemporary twist through LED technology and a fastening system evocative of wave-like motion. The geometric curves are an observation of living organisms and the precision of mathematics, encapsulated in its name  « SPLINE » — derived from the mathematical function that generates smooth, continuous curves between nodes. #NEW #DESIGNEDITION SPLINE PETITE FRITURE NEW LIGHTING COLLECTION BOUM! Petite Friture's newest outdoor lamp has landed! Spline by David Derksen is online. Spline is an indoor and outdoor LED pendant lamp, the LED strip is a contemporary take on the more classic string lights. The combination of colourful textiles with a continuous line of light gives the final piece a festive yet minimalist feel. It comes in two two-tone models – brown/orange and beige/blue – each measuring more than 4.5 meters long. The clips along the strap can be altered to play with the height and number of waves. The LED strip reaches 4,000 lumen (2 700 Kelvin) with a CRI over 90 for optimal colour rendering. Two LED strips and the unique hive pattern with 6 internal light cells provide 360° light coverage.
