PAC attended yesterday at Google Cloud Day '24 Romania, noting a significant increase in attendance in these types of events. While the Romanian market lags in cloud adoption compared to other European countries due to factors like low digital literacy and weak economic resources, recent investments in digital transformation, especially in the public sector, show positive signs. Examples like the Sumal 2.0 application developed by Zitec for the Ministry of Environment demonstrate the potential of cloud technology in streamlining processes and improving efficiency. Google Cloud has been actively collaborating with various Romanian organizations, including the Romanian Post and Romanian Football Federation, to drive digitalization and innovation. Despite challenges like economic headwinds and strong, established competitors, Romania's market potential seems to be attractive for Google to expand its presence in the country. [BLOG PAC] La hausse des TJM ralentit en 2024 par Franck Nassah Après deux années exceptionnelles, le secteur du numérique ralentit en 2024. En 2022 et 2023, après la crise du Covid-19, les entreprises ont dû tenter de rattraper le retard pris dans les investissements numériques pendant la pandémie, entrainant une croissance forte. Même si la transformation numérique des entreprises utilisatrices est encore loin d’être achevée, elles sont aujourd’hui contraintes de ralentir leurs investissements IT en raison de la morosité de l’économie. Cet impact dans le secteur numérique se manifeste notamment par le retournement de tendance sur le marché des services informatiques, avec un net ralentissement des prises de commandes et du nombre total d’appels d’offres/dossiers constatés.  Toutefois, les profils experts ou expérimentés sont aujourd’hui parmi les plus recherchés, notamment sur les compétences autour de la sécurité, du cloud et de la data. 40% des entreprises recrutent des profils seniors en 2024.
