This is now fixed 🎉 Reachy’s Mobile Base is now available in simulation, and fully integrated into our simulation framework within Gazebo, providing a more realistic and secure testing platform. You will need to install our stack, either by downloading the entire environment to your personal machine, or via Docker. Efficient installation, accelerated testing! 🚀

During last Hardware Week in Bordeaux, R&D engineer Jeremy Laville assembled a 3D Orbita, developed by Pollen Robotics 🔩 Initially used in Reachy's neck joint, Orbita will also be used in Reachy 2's wrists in its 3 DoF version, and elbows and shoulders in its 2 DoF version! Last Monday, Meta's Open Source AI Day featured prominent figures in the AI industry, including Yann LeCun, Chief Scientist at Meta, and Thomas Wolf, co-founder of Hugging Face. Simon Revelly and Pierre Rouanet pitched our project and explained how the Meta AI Startup Program has been instrumental in our adoption of open-source AI models. The support provided by mentors from Meta, Hugging Face, Scaleway, HEC Paris, and STATION F has been crucial in accelerating our product development, and bringing us visibility among the robotics and AI community. Teaching Reachy to do stuff on its own...Along with our friends from LeRobot team at Hugging Face, "Repetition" became the mantra of the day as we teleoperated Reachy to perform the same task hundreds of times.
