🎨 Nouveau Billet de Blog 🎨 : Dialogue entre arts et sciences : Naturalis Causa* Par : CECILE CROCE ET Blandine Laperche "Entre l’art et la science, il existe plusieurs interférences, croisements et collaborations. Les scientifiques s’inspirent souvent de procédés artistiques et, inversement, les artistes sollicitent les sciences. Naturalis Causa est un ouvrage qui couple des œuvres réalisées par un procédé photographique monochrome ancien, le cyanotype, à partir d’éléments naturels, avec des citations de chercheurs sur les rapports entre l’humain et la nature. Economistes, historiens, philosophes, poètes donnent à penser l’innovation dans un rapport étrange, sensible et décalé avec les empreintes photosensibles de fleurs et d’herbes dans les vents. Naturalis Causa travaille les rapports entre d’autres couples comme arts et sciences, imagination et innovation, exploration et exploitation, vivant et finance. I recently took part in the RIODD 2024 conference at the Ichec Brussels Management School in Brussels, with the theme of "Imagining, Experimenting, and Perpetuating Strong Sustainability". Organized by the International Research Network on Organizations and Sustainable Development, this international event brought together researchers and professionals to discuss the challenges and potential of sustainability and organizational change. I presented the findings of our in-depth decarbonization program on the territory of Dunkirk. This analysis revealed the complex interactions among local stakeholders and the organizational, technological, economic, political, and environmental challenges surrounding industrial decarbonization. The debate on this topic was enriching, highlighting the importance of collaborative governance in balancing economic viability with environmental objectives. It was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and deepen our reflections on sustainable innovation. 🤩 I'm thrilled to announce that I've been awarded a research grant for my latest project! 💡 My study builds on ideas from my PhD dissertation and examines a critical question: Do firms establish post-divestiture relationships to tap into the innovation of divested entities, or are these connections more about transferring existing knowledge to these entities? By addressing this, the research aims to bridge the gap between innovation and corporate strategy. 🔍 Call all companies that have recently divested or are planning to do so!
