SCOR Zurich's annual Actuarial Award was presented by Fabian Uffer, SCOR's Chief Risk Officer, during last week’s Sustainability in (Re)Insurance Conference 2024, hosted in collaboration with the Swiss Actuarial Association (SAV). Last week, our employees around the world celebrated SCOR Sustainability Days, an internal initiative meant to raise awareness, question routine behavior, and look for new ways to improve our impact on the world around us. In this third edition, SCOR Sustainability Days focused on the theme of biodiversity, giving employees the chance to attend internal conferences on SCOR's sustainability strategy, business products already having a tangible impact on the environment, and the import role of water for healthy ecosystems. Employees also had the chance to participate in a variety of local initiatives, from harvesting locally grown vegetables to be donated to a food bank to sustainable business travel workshops.
