♻️🔋 REMORA Stack: An Innovative Large-Scale Energy Storage Solution for Industries With the rise of #renewableenergy, energy storage has become a key challenge, especially for sites requiring #energyindependence, such as #factories, industrial areas, or public infrastructure. ⚡ The REMORA Stack solution, patented by SEGULA, uses isothermal air compression to store excess #energy (solar, wind, etc.) in containers. When energy is needed, the compressed air is released, and the stored energy is recovered to generate #electricity with an efficiency of 70%. 👉 Key benefits: - A lifespan of at least 30 years - Robust and durable materials - Zero pollutant emissions - Flexibility: Storage duration can be increased simply by adding containers without replacing the compressor. 💡 This modularity makes the solution cost-effective, scalable, and tailored to the specific needs of #industry. 🌍 As part of the AIR4NRG project collaborative project funded by the European Union, SEGULA Technologies is leading the development of test installations to evaluate REMORA Stack under real-world conditions. SOFIA project: AI at the service of industry 🦾 At SEGULA Technologies, we have launched the #SOFIA project, which aims to use #AI to #automate and simplify software development in the machine tool industry. This #technology has the potential to change the way solutions are designed and programmed, to speed up processes and minimise human intervention in repetitive tasks. The aim? To reduce the time and complexity of processes by 33%. How will this be achieved? The SOFIA project, which is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026, will make it possible, in particular, to: 👩💻 Detect anomalies and automate certain tasks by automatically generating code using machine learning models. 🛥️ Improve maritime connectivity by optimising the collection and analysis of data from ships' energy systems to facilitate their maintenance. 🗜️ Facilitate the exploitation of machine data: thanks to the AAS (Asset Administration Shell) standard, each machine has a digital identity that simplifies access to its data. AI will enable better interconnection of equipment and more efficient management of production lines.
