Through this project, we have: ✅ Funded 12 demonstration projects, driving sustainable transformation and technological advancements across multiple industries. ✅ Provided green financial support to 25 SMEs, enabling them to integrate sustainability into their operations. ✅ Developed a Resilience Plan, laying the foundation for a more competitive and sustainable electronics industry. ✅ Launched a Green Experts Catalogue, connecting businesses with specialists to guide them in adopting green solutions. ✅ Offered upskilling and reskilling programs, ensuring Europe’s workforce remains at the forefront of innovation. ✅ Supported SMEs in internationalization, facilitating their entry into global markets, including the United States and Taiwan. Silicon Eurocluster has brought together key players from across Europe, reinforcing our commitment to digital and sustainable evolution. 🌟 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀! 🌟 The Silicon Eurocluster initiative has successfully concluded its Green Financial Support open call, selecting 25 SMEs from across Europe to receive financial assistance aimed at promoting sustainable transformation within the electronics sector. 💚💻 Each chosen SME has been awarded €3,600 to engage external consultancy services, facilitating their transition towards greener business practices. The call attracted numerous applications from SMEs operating in diverse areas of the electronics ecosystem, including radio communications, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, energy harvesting, photonics, and sensors. This initiative is part of Silicon Eurocluster's broader mission to enhance European self-sufficiency, competitiveness, and resilience in the electronics value chain, with a strong focus on supporting SMEs. The event included a panel discussion - moderated by Mesap Innovation Cluster - on strengthening collaboration under the EU Chips Act, featuring key stakeholders from the EU Commission, Italian government (MIMIT), and EPoSS Association. We were honored to be represented by Erasmia Dupenloup (Minalogic), our President, who contributed her insights on fostering collaboration to strengthen Europe’s semiconductor ecosystem.
