🥼🧪 Prioritizing Health & Safety: our experience at Préventica 2024! This month, the SPECIFIC POLYMERS HSE team attended the Preventica trade show to discover the latest products for health, safety and quality of life in the workplace. In particular, the conference was an opportunity to prepare the extension of our building (to find out more, read our article ➡️ https://lnkd.in/epuFKjG8) so that we can install the best solutions to protect employees in the new premises. Conferences and meetings enabled David Dewaele and Elsa Berthaut to explore the subjects of lone worker protection, safety cabinets, office ergonomics and contact with chemicals. They were also able to discover innovative systems: exoskeletons, filtering dustbins, safety knives, etc. At SPECIFIC POLYMERS, safety and prevention are at the heart of our work. Over the past three years, we have successfully achieved the first stage of industrial transfer for two of our key products, DGEVA and PHTE. We are now able to ensure pilot production of these bisphenol-free epoxy resins in quantities of several tens of kilograms. We offer batches ranging from 50g to 500g for sale and can also fulfill bulk supply requests on demand. CUBIC EU Project Consortium Celebrates First Year of Collaboration and Innovation 🤝   We are delighted to have successfully held the third meeting of the CUBIC consortium on October 8 and 9, 2024, at CIDETEC's premises in San Sebastián, Spain. This meeting marked the completion of our first year of collaboration, during which we took stock of our progress, discussed our achievements and defined the project's next steps. It was an excellent opportunity to strengthen our partnerships and align us with future goals.   The first day included a guided tour of CIDETEC's state-of-the-art facilities, offering valuable insight into their innovative work in materials science. Many thanks to CIDETEC for their warm welcome!   On the second day, Fiona Magliozzi from the SP team offered a comprehensive workshop focusing on bio-based epoxy resins, 3R-CANsepoxy systems and composite materials. The presentation was highly representative of SP's work in the synthesis and formulation of bisphenol-free epoxy resins.
