🏆 Notre CEO, Philippe Rosier, a été élu cet après-midi « Homme de la Filière 2024 » Véhicules industriels & Urbains, en marge du salon SOLUTRANS | Transport routier et urbain organisé par la FFC CONSTRUCTEURS 🚛 ce jeudi 10 octobre 2024 à Lyon. Ce prix vient reconnaître l'action de Philippe et des équipes de Symbio à tout mettre en œuvre pour décarboner les mobilités avec des solutions industrialisées et innovantes de piles à combustible #hydrogène.    Le prix lui a été remis par MM. Bruno Bernard, Président de la Métropole de Lyon, et Patrick Cholton, président de SOLUTRANS.   Lors de son discours, Philippe a dédié ce prix aux femmes et aux hommes de Symbio. « Nous ne savions pas que c'était impossible, c'est pourquoi nous l'avons fait », a-t-il précisé en citant Mark Twain.    #BuildingAPositiveFuture

🌍 Symbio Citizen Week: a federative and encouraging first!   Our first #SymbioCitizenWeek took place over 3 days, from September 18 to 20, as part of the European Sustainable Development Week and the UN World Clean Up Day. Our target was to strengthen our positive impact by bringing our civic values to life and contributing to protecting the environment and human communities.    Our first Citizen Week was an encouraging success! 💪 11 project leaders 🧩 10 projects to collect waste in our surroundings, promote inclusivity in our industry, bike to work and adopt carbon-free mobility, learn more about environmental impact, swap children's clothes, or practice permaculture! 👏 c. 230 motivated participants ♻️ c.120 kg of garbage collected in Saint-Fons and on the banks of the Rhône River. 🏆 299 hours dedicated to sustainable initiatives   Well done to all our Symbio employees who got involved over these 3 days, and in their daily life. 🤝 Earlier this week, Symbio had the honor of welcoming to our SymphonHy #FuelCell gigafactory a political delegation from the Japanese Prefecture of Aichi, led by its Governor, Mr. Hideaki Ohmura, and in the presence of representatives from our very own Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. 🌊 Both regions of Aichi and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, which have signed a formal partnership since May 2022, are major industrial hubs as well as pioneers in supporting the zero-emission hydrogen economy in their respective countries. 🚌 Symbio-Wrightbus' 300 kW coach demonstrator on display at Cenex Expo!   Symbio and Wrightbus have unveiled a 300 kW Hydrogen #FuelCell demonstrator coach at Cenex Expo 2024, the leading forum for Net-Zero Connected Automated Mobility (September 4 and 5, Millbrook, UK). The project aims to pave the way for hydrogen public transportation beyond city buses and was supported by the UK’s Department for Business and Trade, through the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK. The partnership started in January 2024 with the delivery by Symbio to Wrightbus of four 75 kW StackPack™ fuel cell systems, forming a 300-kW power unit that Wrightbus integrated and tested into one of its single-deckers. The tests enabled the innovation teams on both sides to adjust and define the optimal settings for the vehicle’s powertrain.   This successful project sets the basis for future development of hydrogen-powered city buses equipped with Symbio 75 kW StackPack™ fuel cell systems, specifically designed for bus applications.    “As the transition to #ZeroEmissionMobility is a major challenge for passenger transport operators, we at Symbio are honoured to team up with leading operator Wrightbus and the innovative governmental agency APC to develop a new zero-emission, highly performant fuel cell coach. At Symbio, our role is to provide customised, ready-to-deploy zero-emission #hydrogen solutions that can be used to decarbonise new or existing bus and coach fleets, without compromising on operational flexibility and user comfort. #FormulaStudentFrance 🏎️ | Symbio a présenté le design de son véhicule démonstrateur #FormulaStudentHydrogen!   💧 Ce prototype, véritable banc d’essai roulant, est une expérience inédite mettant en pratique les enseignements universitaires. Il contribuera à développer les compétences et profils indispensables à la réindustrialisation : des ingénieurs et des techniciens capables de gérer des projets complexes et innovants dans un environnement international, alors même que les formations spécifiques à la mobilité hydrogène restent encore confidentielles.   Le démonstrateur Formula Student Hydrogen sera une occasion unique de contribuer à la construction de l’écosystème, fédérant les étudiants, les universités et l’ensemble de la filière hydrogène autour d'un projet ambitieux. C'est la mission de la #SymbioHydrogenAcademy (bientôt une grosse actu : stay tuned 😉). Symbio est également partenaire conseil du projet #HyDriven, dont le véhicule hydrogène "Nebula" est en photo ci-dessous !   Pour Symbio, la compétition automobile est un laboratoire en conditions réelles et extrêmes nous permettant de repousser toujours plus loin les performances de nos #FuelCells.
