🏁A new step towards automated inspection of intraocular lenses (IOL)   V-OPTICS and a leading manufacturer of intraocular lenses (IOL) have reached a significant milestone in the project to roll out the QualiLENS® solution for the automated quality control of IOL.   This summer, our engineers Jean-Yves Hergott, Elodie Gremmel and Rémy Claveau went to the manufacturer’s site for a decisive intervention in the progress of the project.   For a week, we were tasked with several important missions: 🔧Ensuring the maintenance of several QualiLENS® equipment units currently in operation at the manufacturer’s site. 🔧 Installing a new module. 🔧 Preparing for the arrival of the next new QualiLENS® units.   We are particularly satisfied with this work and with the excellent results previously achieved during the qualification process. These successes are the result of an exemplary collaboration between the IOL manufacturer and V-OPTICS. The project is moving forward and we would like to thank our customer for the trust they have placed in us.   We will continue to deploy the necessary skills and resources to meet the most demanding requirements of our customer.

🔎Top 6 manufacturing defects to hunt for in visual inspections   In industries such as ophthalmics, precision optics, sapphire glass, automotive and aerospace, surface defects can impact product quality and reliability.   At V-OPTICS, we work closely with manufacturers to upgrade their cosmetic inspection processes. With our QualiLENS® technology, we help them automatically detect the most common defects that occur during the manufacturing process: ❌ Lathe marks ❌ Scratches ❌ Chipped edges ❌ Outburst ❌ Inclusions ❌ Bubbles and clouds   Advanced image processing through cutting-edge algorithms ensures defects are identified, labelled and classified in various categories as described above and more. Even tiny dust particles are separated from true defects for precise analysis.   Now, we invite you to think beyond these examples. 🧐 What surface defects are most critical for you in your manufacturing process? Let's discuss and explore the possibilities together.   V-OPTICS, your partner for zero-defect!
