🤯 A sold-out event in 4 hours thanks to our email collection campaigns? In October, Bomel came up with a unique concept: an event featuring a dinner with food, wine and music pairings, all in a warm and welcoming setting. The special feature? Limited tickets, accessible only by email registration, offering the perfect opportunity to collect contacts from the most committed fans. Here is how Bomel managed to sell out his event thanks to our email campaigns, in only 3 steps.👇 1️⃣ Social Media Engagement: a first phase with the publication of engaging content inviting fans to give their email to receive the pre-sale link (link shared in Instagram bio), as well as a post boost to qualify a receptive audience. 2️⃣ Fan Data Collection: a conversion campaign with email collection to access the event's pre-sale ticketing. 3️⃣ Email Marketing: once the fans' emails had been collected, a newsletter was sent to give them access to the ticketing service. 📈 The results? 275 emails collected in three weeks, and a sold-out event in only 4 hours, with a cost per ticket sold of only €2.14! 🤯 Is it possible for an artist to get 1 stream out of 10 from algorithmic playlists in just a few months? In May 2024, Chloé Antoniotti released her first EP, "Bouquet". With no prior Spotify profile, the challenge was clear: turn her social media followers into streaming platform listeners and build her audience on Spotify. To do so, she and her team decided to launch a redirection campaign to drive ad-engaged audiences directly to streaming platforms. These campaigns not only helped transform online engagement into tangible growth on streaming platforms, but also triggered Spotify's recommendation algorithm! 🌟👇 Before the campaigns launched in May, streams from algorithmic playlists were minimal. But here’s the game changer: between April and May, this number quadrupled. While there was a slight dip after the campaign period, growth resumed, leading to a steady rise. By September 2024 (just 4 months post-campaign): 🔺 Chloé had amassed 472,600 total streams on Spotify. 🔺 Over 37,200 streams came from algorithmic playlists—nearly 7.8% of her total streams. This means almost 1 in 10 streams was driven by Spotify’s algorithmic playlists. 🎧 This demonstrates the power of well-targeted social ads campaigns in music recommendation. How does Spotify decide which artists to recommend? 🧐 Spotify uses a Popularity Index, ranging from 0 to 100, to measure an artist’s popularity relative to others on the platform. A higher score increases the likelihood of being recommended by algorithmic playlists. Your score is based on two main factors: 1️⃣ Number of streams in the past 28 days 2️⃣ Number of unique listeners in the past 28 days Key Insights: 🔹 While it is possible to appear in algorithmic playlists with a popularity score below 30, this remains rare. 🔹 Achieving a score of 30 typically requires reaching around 9,200 streams from 4,100 listeners in the past 28 days. 🔹 Consistently maintaining this ratio is essential to maximize recommendations from Spotify’s algorithms.
