Our product, a highly efficient Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform is helping companies achieve their financial goals by quickly responding to dynamic factors in their respective markets including Tech, Retail, CPG & Financial Services.

The HRBP in Pigment

In Pigment, the HRBP is ready to help any leader, manager and employee during their journey in the company. Does your manager or stakeholder want to talk about career development and defining ‘what’s next’ (training, mobility, promotion, etc.)? Do your managers want advice on your team member’s performance or some help to handle a conflict? This is what you will do at Pigment and more!

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with management and senior leadership to develop and implement effective People practices that will support the strategic growth of a business

Develop People strategies, design approaches, and execute methods for diagnosing, building, and enhancing organizational effectiveness, cohesiveness (and conflict resolution), and employee engagement.

Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution.

Support coach, and partner with managers on performance management, team structure and employee development goals.

Partner with the other HR team members to champion ourculture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.

Please note, this role is hybrid in structure (60% in office).

Activities

  • Strategic alignment and planning through partnerships:
  • Influencing and building relationships with people around the business
  • Conduct weekly or bi-weekly meetings with business leaders and provide HR advice where necessary
  • Reskilling and upskilling: identify training needs and assist the L&D function in aligning training programs with business objectives
  • Strategic workforce planning: ensure the company’s workforce has the right size, shape, cost, and agility for the future
  • Optimizing organizational design to increase productivity and improve performance of the business
  • Succession planning and risk management: help select and develop key talent to ensure there are strong pigmenauts to fill in critical roles while also identifying key risk areas to the business on a talent basis.
  • Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of a company on People priorities
  • Analyse and interpret various types of employee reports (e.g., compensation, job levels, and attrition) to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions to their client group
  • Lead core people processes through coaching:
  • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
  • Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of a company on People priorities
  • Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
  • Bring HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational dev
  • Provide guidance on the creation and implementation of HR processes and policies, acting as a local point of people expertise for specialist teams that are implementing new people approaches
  • Upskill team members on people principles such as performance feedback, growth, learning, etc
  • Build a high performing organisation:
  • Conducting day-to-day performance management guidance to line managers (for example mentoring, career planning, coaching, etc).
  • Helping line managers deal with organizational, people, and change-related issues
  • Provide advice and suggestions for culture-related initiatives, such as cultural transformation.
  • Working together with management and personnel to solve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations, maintain a good working environment, build morale, and decrease unwanted turnover.
  • Collaborating with other People team members on implementing innovative and inclusive recruitment strategies.
  • Participate in the continual development of People programs, such as recruiting, retention, compensation, benefits, and L&D
  • Assisting in developing a future-proof compensation and benefits strategy.
  • Partner with L&D to work on value-added programs in areas of training, development, career mobility, and job performance


Who you are

  • You have a solid experience as an HRBP, in talent management, or as an HR generalist
  • You have worked in a fast growing and multicultural environment
  • You have a deep understanding and experience of the challenges a Go-To-Market SaaS organization is facing
  • You are very organized, able to manage multiple topics with autonomy and adapt quickly to any situation and ambiguity.
  • Humble, collaborative, and action-driven
  • You are enthusiastic and highly resilient You are an active listener with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and French is a must
