Meet the team 👩‍👩‍👧‍👧

You will become a valued member of the People Team at Homa! This dynamic team comprises several branches, including the HR team consisting of the VP of People, two HR Business Partners (HRBP), and one HR Operations specialist. As well as, a 4-people Talent Acquisition team

Please Note: This opportunity is open to both internships and apprenticeships.

  • Apprenticeships: We are offering a 1-year contract, with the possibility of renewal for an additional year. The ideal schedule is 3 weeks onsite and 1 week at school each month; however, we are flexible with other methodologies
  • Internships: Our internships are 6 months in duration and are full-time, Monday to Friday


Role And Missions - What You Will Do 🚀

As an HR Intern/Apprentice, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR team across various tasks and projects. This role offers the opportunity to gain broad, hands-on experience across several HR topics, providing you with a comprehensive 360-degree perspective on HR functions.

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, including handling contracts, payroll, onboarding materials, and management of paid leave. While also supporting in maintaining accurate employee records and updating HR databases
  • HR Initiatives: Contribute actively to various HR initiatives such as our Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) committee, Buddy Program, projects, and the establishment of the Alumni network
  • Learning and Development: Assist in researching and coordinating training sessions and workshops for employees
  • HR Analytics: Prepare HR reports and analytics, and conduct benchmarking exercises and assessments related to HR processes and benefits


Requirements

Preferred Experience—What's your profile 👀

  • Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a Degree program in Human Resources or equivalent studies.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and French is a must.
  • Professional Experience: Prior internship experience in Human Resources would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail, and advanced organizational, and time management skills
  • Passionate about people, process improvement, and the fast-paced startup environment
