Senior Sales Director for FINE WINE COMPANY, SUPPLYING THE SUPER YACHT INDUSTRY.

We supply some of the world’s largest and most prestigious vessels with the most desirable wines and spirits. We are also the creators of CruSmart, the first web-based application designed specifically for the yachting industry, for managing onboard wine inventory, linking multiple private cellars within one online platform.

Our sister company, Vineyard Productions, specialises in wine production and that collaborates with vineyard owners and winemakers around the world to create, produce and distribute award-winning wine brands.

We are expanding our market presence in the South of France, and as such we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in this prestigious market.


Role Overview

As the Senior Sales Director, you will spearhead our sales operations targeting luxury yachts in the South of France and Mediterranean in the European Summer season and the American and Caribbean market in the winter season.

You will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing sales team, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and achieving ambitious sales targets. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the luxury wine market and exceptional relationship-building skills.

Operating at a strategic director level, you will report directly into the CEO and share in all of the corporate decision making. Your voice will be heard, as we collectively work to grow the company globally.


Key Responsibilities

  • Targeted Global Sales with a particular focus on the Mediterranean market. You will need to pay for yourself! A personal target, will return you not only your salary but also a generous commission package.
  • Team Building and Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a top-tier sales team. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and high achievement.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Craft and implement innovative sales strategies tailored to the luxury yacht market. Utilise market insights to drive growth and capture new opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with yacht owners, captains, and other key stakeholders. Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Market Penetration and Brand Growth: Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and attract high-net-worth clients.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Implement performance metrics and reporting systems to monitor sales activities, measure success, and identify areas for improvement.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the fine wine or luxury goods industry.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of the luxury market, particularly within the yachting community.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
  • Passion for fine wine and a keen understanding of wine connoisseurship.


  • What We Offer
  • A Gross Base Salary of €65’000 per annum with expected on target earnings north of €100’000
  • A generous commission structure.
  • Director Level Team Bonus Target.
