I thought I'd share an interesting survey conducted by the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS). We all utilize healthcare services from time to time but rarely do we consider the security needs & challenges this industry tackles on behalf of both patients, visitors, and employees. Whether it's a community clinic or large multi-acre facility, the security dynamics are unique and partnering to devise a strategy is one aspect of my job that is rewarding. #healthcaresecurity #hospitalsecurity #IAHSS

The "audit of compliance-beyond misunderstandings" one-hour sessions are getting attention. In France with IFACI, a combined attendance of 284 individuals (direct and single views on the Replay). With the session of IIA Austria - Institut für Interne Revision Österreich ("Audit Spotlight") this week, as well as the sessions with IPAI Instituto Auditoria Interna (Peru), Instituto de Auditores Internos de Colombia, and IAI Chile, I could get the feedback of more than 800 audit professionals! #Switzerland 🇨🇭: A major police operation is underway in the Saint-Jean district of #Geneva after an #explosion occurred shortly before 7:30 a.m. this morning. A man in his forties was injured in the leg during the explosion of a bag deposited close by the steps of his apartment. According to the Geneva Public Prosecutor's Office, a man, discovered a bag in front of his door, liquid was escaping from this bag and when he handled it, it exploded. The man was hit in the leg and foot.
