BUT last week, I decided to get hands-on and do a full inventory count myself at a customer’s store—just to experience it myself. We’re talking two floors + two backrooms... guess what? 🚨 NEW 🚨 Aldi is to roll out the standardised refill solution developed by The Refill Coalition into more of its stores, The Grocer has been told. The trial launched in a single Aldi UK store in Solihull in 2023 and will now be expanded after a good response from customers and store staff. Further rollout is seen as a significant milestone by the coalition as to the initial success of the trial and viability of the system, after a series of delays and dropouts from retailers.
