Exciting news from Nevel! We are proud to see our portfolio Nevel expanding its cooperation with Atria, one of the leading food companies in Northern Europe. Nevel is investing in two 10 MW electric boilers and one 100 MWh heat accumulator, which acts as energy storage, at Atria’s Nurmo production facility in Finland. PRESS RELEASE | We are proud to announce that F2i and Finavias (holding company owned by Dutch pension fund APG and funds managed by Ardian) sell their entire shareholding in 2i Rete Gas S.p.A., Italy’s second largest natural gas distribution operator, to Italgas.   During 15 years of ownership, the company has pursued a path of growth that has led it to increase the number of users from the initial 1.9 million to the current 4.9 million, with a network under management that today exceeds 72 thousand kilometers, with over 2,200 concessions managed by 2,200 people.    The growth in size was achieved through an effective strategy of acquiring other operators, the development of the managed networks, and through participation in the tenders for the renewal of concessions that have been announced and assigned to date.   We are pleased to have also contributed to the positioning of 2i Rete Gas as a key player in the energy transition in the Italian economy.   Read the announcement → https://bit.ly/3BAe1QB #Infrastructure #NaturalGas #EnergyTransition #Italy Rosario Mazza Federica Vasquez Greta Chilelli

With a deep focus on the transportation sector, Leonarda has been instrumental in driving the firm’s infrastructure investment activities. She led the launch of Clermont, a joint venture with INDIGO Group to invest in Canadian parking assets, and the acquisition of CampusParc, which manages parking facilities at The Ohio State University. In addition, Leonarda helped to establish the Ardian Millennial Comex and is also involved in the Ardian Women's Club.   This award is a testament to Leonarda’s hard work, leadership, and dedication in shaping the future of infrastructure investment. 🌍 Pushing the Boundaries of the #CircularEconomy At Ardian, we're committed to driving sustainable growth through strategic investments in the circular economy. Our acquisition of Attero in 2023, one of Europe’s most advanced waste management companies, marked a significant step in this direction. Attero’s innovative approach to waste management—from producing biomethane to recycling plastics—sets a new standard for sustainability. We plan to enhance Attero’s capabilities by implementing a carbon capture and storage (CCS) project at the Moerdijk waste-to-energy plant, making it one of the largest producers of carbon-neutral baseload energy in the Netherlands. This project is expected to begin construction in 2025 and become operational by 2029. 🌱 Our portfolio company Attero just opened the FirstBio2Shipping bio-LNG plant in the Netherlands! Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands officially opened the new plant in Wilp.   With the FirstBio2Shipping project, Attero and Nordsol are taking an important step towards sustainable shipping. The new plant will convert biogas from organic waste into liquefied natural gas (LNG), in a standardised and scalable way.   The state-of-the-art facility will annually convert 6 million Nm3 of biogas from household GFT waste into 2,400 tonnes of high-purity bio-LNG and 5,000 tonnes of liquid bio CO2. This renewable fuel will play a key role in reducing CO₂ emissions by replacing heavy fuel oil (HFO) in the maritime sector.   👏 Congratulations to the entire Attero team on this remarkable achievement!
