  • Traditionally, cards have been a sticky part of the banking customer relationship, but with the emergence of digital payments and wallets, they are certainly under threat.    FinTech Magazine outlines insights from the World Retail Banking Report 2025 with commentary from Gareth Wilson on the urgency for banks to invest in the end-to-end customer journey across cards.   The report reveals a concerning trend: ➡️ Banks' marketing teams cite several challenges in retaining customers, including insufficient customer insights (66%) ➡️ Only 3% of banks' marketing teams consider their customer onboarding process seamless ➡️ About 1-in-4 customers experience a satisfactory interaction with their bank’s contact centre   The opportunity to connect with millennial and Gen Z customers lies with transforming contact centres into intelligent, engagement-driven hubs that “wow” customers.   Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/d7-VW5kt
