Famille Naud - Master Distillers since 1923 - invites you to share their passion for the Art of Distillation

À propos

🇬🇧 Built in the 19th century in the Cognac region, the ancient grain mill of Pinthiers, with its authentic paddle wheel, became the family distillery in 1923. Well hidden amongst the greenery and set upon a small island, the old stone building, which is surrounded by lime and willow trees, is bordered by two arms of the creek Seugne, which flows into the River Charente. It is an outstanding distillery, hidden away on its own island! Throughout decades, Emile PERRIER meticulously elaborated original fruit liquors which were renown across the region. The place was called Distillerie Perrier and since then, it had been a little forgotten… In the nineteen eighties, Jean-Michel Naud, a trained oenologist and a passionate explorer of wines and spirits, inherited the distillery…and he truly rediscovered it. Behind the doors, five surprisingly well preserved traditional Charentais copper pot stills of 2 500 liters each are starting a new life. Over the past century, five generations of passionate and bold entrepreneurs have crafted spirits in the distillery. The last ones in line are even somewhat rebellious. They are the brave pioneers of a new vision of spirits. They have reignited the fires under the pot stills to create Cognacs which can be proud of their origins. They also present a range of original and fine spirits which only insiders will talk of in respect of the distillery’s discretion.
