🇨🇳 Experiencing leadership and innovation in China with SKEMA Business School’s Global Executive MBA! We are thrilled to share highlights from an incredibly inspiring residential week for our Fall 23 Global Executive MBA cohort at SKEMA’s Suzhou campus in China. This immersive experience offered participants a firsthand look at China’s advancements in technology, operational efficiency, and strategic innovation 🤖 The week featured powerful discussions on cutting-edge supply chain models with Professor Raffaele Muscetta 慕思韬, complemented by site visits that brought theory into practice. Highlights included a tour of FORVIA’s plant, showcasing operational precision, and an inside look at Decathlon ’s advanced logistics technology near Suzhou. In addition, expert insights on Sales & Operations Planning from Nelson Chow and Adam Yee, paired with hands-on exercises from Zensimu, gave participants a real-world lens on supply chain strategy and decision-making. These residential weeks are also a valuable opportunity for participants to build strong connections with each other, sharing personal insights, professional experiences, and strengthening the network that is a core part of their GEMBA journey. 👏 A special thank you to the dedicated faculty, the host companies, and the entire Suzhou campus team for making this experience so memorable for our cohort. What an inspiring week at Skema Business School GEMBA program in China! Experiencing China’s advancements firsthand, from impressive technology to forward-thinking innovations, has been an eye-opener for me! The energy in and out of the classrooms was contagious, amplifying our deep dives into supply chain models. Raffaele Muscetta 慕思韬 enlivened our discussions, deepened our knowledge, making every session memorable and impressive - I couldn't be more grateful! One of the standout moments this week was touring FORVIA plant, where operational efficiency was on full display. Witnessing such precision and organization in action was truly inspiring! Thanks to @Johnny JIANG for hospitality!!! Then came our visit to Decathlon’s warehouse near Suzhou, where we got an insider’s look at the technology and processes driving their impressive logistics. Adding to this experience, Nelson Chow and Adam Yee shared invaluable insights on S&OP that really reshaped my understanding of supply chain strategies. Zensimu hands-on exercises put theory into practice, letting us dive into real-world scenarios that made the learning unforgettable. And, of course, none of this would’ve been possible without Fabien Seraidarian incredible support throughout and dearest Anke Middelmann whose encouragement was felt every step of the way, even from thousands of kilometers away. Already counting the days until our next GEMBA week in Brazil! Thank you guys for great memories! Anis L.
