More importantly, the emote which caused Trials of the Nine to be cancelled will also be fixed.

Destiny 2 Crucible

While the live team will eventually fix many of Bungie’s errors with Destiny 2’s end-game, there will be a patch coming next week to help adjust Crucible score limits. Perhaps more importantly, patch 1.0.6 will also fix the collision detection issue caused by the Bureaucratic Walk emote (which earlier resulted in Trials of the Nine being postponed). It will also correct an issue which saw players finding empty public spaces in free roam.

As for the Crucible changes, you can expect the Mercy Rule – which ends matches when one team absolutely dominates another – to activate slightly later in a match. The score limit for Clash has been changed to 50 from 75 while Control’s score limit has been reduced to 90 from 100. Survival round time limit is now 2 minutes while the life count will be reduced to 6 from 8.

The score limit for Supremacy has been increased from 50 to 70 but players will now gain one point for killing an opponent. If you’re not someone interested in picking up crests, this should make things slightly more appealing. Expect updates on when exactly it goes live next week. In the meantime, check out the full listed changes (with more to come) below:

General

  • Fixed an issue with collision detection on the Bureaucratic Walk emote
  • Fixed an issue causing players to encounter empty public spaces too often in free roam
