The closed beta for Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Ubisoft’s next major open world title, will start tomorrow for pre-orders. However, in the meantime, the development team has unveiled its roadmap for post-launch content in Year 1. The first episode, Operation Greenstone, kicks off on October 4th – Episode 2 “Deep State” starts in February 2020 while Episode 3 “Transcendence” begins June 2020.

Each episode will have a new adventure touted as five hours long with all players having access to the first hour for free. Year 1 Pass owners can unlock the full adventure immediately, which seems to indicate that non-pass owners will gain access to each part over several weeks. As for raids, Project Titan is the first and goes live “during Episode 1” – so anytime between October 2019 and January 2020.

Faction Missions will also be added at launch with new Story Faction Missions added each month. Players will have access to new missions each day and each faction will “evolve” post-launch. Three new classes are also coming which can be played in PvE and PvP. The first is the Engineer who can hack and employ heavy weaponry. Like with Ghost Recon Wildlands, Year 1 Pass owners get one week early access to the new classes.

New PvP maps and updates will be added through the year and there will also be a live event that features “a new enemy that will challenge even the most seasoned Ghosts.” A new event will be added in each episode throughout Year 1.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is out on October 4th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
