Nvidia GeForce Game Ready Driver Optimizes Destiny 2 Warmind & More

Nvidia’s Game Ready Drivers are continuously updated, with the support from the GPU manufacturer helping games both look their best and take minimal effort to get looking that way. Version 397.64 (WHQL) now out brings optimizations for several new releases, including Conan Exiles, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire and the new Destiny 2 expansion, Warmind.

You can find some of the updates below, including both some now fixed and some still open issues for both Windows 10 and Windows 7 users. You can find those closed issues just below the story, but we’re going to call out some of the bigger persisting issues and their workarounds.

Far Cry 5 players trying to use HDR with non-native resolutions can resolve the green flickering by restarting the game while in their desired settings, or [Alt+Tab] out of the game and back into it. Wolfenstein II and Gears of War 4 players may also still experience crashes occasionally, regardless of their OS.

  • Event Error 14 appears in the Windows Event Viewer when booting into Windows.[2109510]
  • GDI objects increase every time an application queries NVAPI. [2109232]
  • [Windows 10]: Driver may get removed after the PC has been left idle for an extended
