Red Dead Redemption 2

Remember the good old days of cheat codes in video games? That was before companies realized they could charge you $5 per use for them, and hid them behind microtransactions. It was a simpler time is what I am saying.

However, Rockstar, have included real cheat codes in Red Dead Redemption 2. Yes, they’re actual, real cheat codes that you input for in game benefits and shenanigans. And how do they work?

Well, that’s simple: you pull up the main menu, and then you press either Y or Triangle (depending on what console you are playing on, naturally) to access the cheats menu. There, you can input a cheat to activate it. Once it has been activated, you can simply enable it from that menu directly, without having to input it the next time. However, bear in mind that for the rest of your gaming session, for as long as the cheat is activated, you can no longer save the game, and you won’t earn any Trophies or Achievements. Additionally, most cheats need you to buy in game newspapers (found in Valentine, Strawberry, Rhodes, Blackwater, Annesburg) to unlock them.

There are a total of 33 cheats. So far we have 21 and we will update this article once we find more.
