Red Dead Redemption 2 Classified By Australian Board, Possibly For PC Version

Could the PC version finally be about to be announced?

Red Dead Redemption 2 was one of the most acclaimed games of last year, and one that continues going on with its successful online counterpart. But one question lingers: when is the PC version of the game coming out? There’s been several leaks and datamines pointing to its existence in some form, but nothing concrete has surfaced. At least, maybe not until now. A new classification from the The Australian Classification board may have let the cat out of the bag.

The board just offered a new classification to Red Dead Redemption 2. This is not the same classification for the original release, but a new entry that you can see here. It seems to be pointing to a PC release, possibly even soon. It’s possible this could be for next gen versions, though that seems early, or for a re-release of some kind promoting multiplayer content, but again that seems early since Red Dead Online is still pretty new.

Rockstar just released (or re-released more like) their launcher as well, so it sure seems like the timing is right. Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and, possibly, could be available for PC soon.
