More information continues to emerge about Red Dead Redemption 2 courtesy of RockstarIntel on Twitter. There’s a lot to cover so let’s get right to it.
First off, holsters will play a part in diversifying your gun-style. Single-handed pistols and sawed-off shotguns along with revolvers are all usable, but to dual-wield, an off-hand holster is needed. Want less weapon degradation? The upgraded and reinforced holsters help.
Various upgrades for weapons – from cosmetics like different metals, woods, varnishes to performance enhancements like different barrels, grips, sights and so on – are also available. In fact, you can make your own weapon from scratch if needed.
Other interesting little touches include protagonist Arthur Morgan being able to sit in any chair and being able to listen in on conversations to obtain information; heckling and booing theater performers or even trying to get a refund; and even teasing John Marston about his scars.
NPCs will have their own memories of you depending on actions taken. Start a fight in a saloon one day, and the next, the bartender could either ask for you to be nice, tell you to leave, or call the sheriff.
Red Dead Redemption 2 releases on October 26th for Xbox One and PS4.
